How much do Facebook ads cost? Budget for the first test.

DigiDraft Facebook and Instagram Ads setup costs PLN 1,500 net, with management at PLN 1,500 net monthly. Money paid to Meta is separate. Plan that spend around a specific offer, test question and spending boundary; customer acquisition has no universal fixed price.

DigiDraft fees for Meta advertising

DigiDraft’s published price list sets Facebook and Instagram Ads setup at PLN 1,500 net and ongoing management at PLN 1,500 net per month. Media spend is separate. The listed minimum engagement is three months; the proposal specifies materials, configuration and ongoing work. A combined Google Ads and Meta Ads package costs PLN 2,500 net for setup and PLN 2,500 net monthly, again excluding money paid to the platforms.

Setup plus three months of Meta management therefore totals PLN 6,000 net. Add your chosen advertising spend and production outside the agreed scope. For example, PLN 2,000 of media in month one gives a sum of PLN 5,000 across these items: PLN 2,000 of media and PLN 3,000 net of work. This illustrates the spending structure before the relevant tax treatment, not a recommended budget or promised result. A landing page, film or integration may create additional costs. Check those requirements before comparing the first month with a later month that has no setup fee.

Write down three separate costs

The first is media spend. The second is production: copy, graphics, video or a landing page. The third is campaign management and data review. Identify which costs occur only at the start.

Ask about revisions, extra variants and enquiry handling. If your business must reply to messages, reserve time for that. Without replies, you cannot establish whether the enquiries could lead to orders.

One question makes the test clearer

Changing everything at once makes interpretation difficult. Choose the main unknown: presentation, argument or audience. Keep other elements as comparable as possible.

For example, ask whether demonstrating the process explains a service better than showing the finished result. That is a question for the test to answer, not a promise that either format will cost less.

Agree on limits and review conditions

Set a total spending limit, who may change it and when to review. Before launch, confirm budget and billing settings in the account. Platform instructions can change; old screenshots do not replace current configuration.

Avoid splitting a small test across many unrelated offers. Check that ads lead to matching content and a working contact path. A broken form needs attention regardless of the statistics.

Check which enquiries fit before comparing costs

A low form-submission cost does not prove a useful enquiry. Record whether the enquiry fits your offer, whether the person can be reached and what happens next. Use an agreed period and account for duplicates and spam.

Agree with the person handling enquiries when a contact is assessed and how duplicates are identified. Record any definition change during the comparison so the result can still be interpreted correctly.

Read CPM, CPC and CPL with their definitions

CPM describes cost per thousand impressions, CPC cost per click and CPL cost per lead as defined in the report. The denominator matters. All clicks on an ad are not necessarily visits to your website, and a submitted form is not automatically a customer. Record the exact column and data scope before comparing campaigns. Similar-looking numbers can describe different actions.

Meta describes its auction as combining a bid, estimated likelihood of the intended action and ad quality. Willingness to pay is not the only input. The practical implication is that creative, the offer and the journey after a click belong in your cost plan. There is no fixed contact price that applies to every audience and season. Treat online benchmark tables as observations from a particular sample, when the source and period are available. They are not a substitute for your own sales assumptions. Keep the forecast separate from figures that were actually recorded in your account.

Let the test question and spending boundary shape the budget

No single daily amount guarantees a useful answer for every business. Comparing ways to demonstrate a simple product differs from assessing enquiries for an expensive service with a long decision cycle. Write down what you need to learn, how much the company can allocate and what the test cannot establish. A small sample may expose a broken journey or unclear message without revealing a stable cost of acquiring a customer.

Before activation, inspect the budget type, schedule, currency, setting level and available controls in the current account. Do not infer perfectly even spending from a field name. Identify who can change the budget and when it will be reviewed. If the spending boundary is reached before enough evidence exists, an inconclusive result is possible. Further spending needs a conscious decision. Saying that a campaign must run indefinitely to learn is not an explanation of what the next stage will establish or how much the business is expected to commit.

Budget for production and meaningful creative variants

A useful ad explains one offer in the conditions where it will be seen. Begin with an argument and evidence: a product demonstration, a stage of the process, genuine project material or an answer to a customer concern. A logo on an unrelated stock photograph does little to explain why someone should enquire. For video, check that the meaning remains understandable without sound and that captions do not cover the demonstration.

When commissioning material, agree on concepts, formats, copy variants and revision rounds. Confirm rights to images, music, people’s likenesses and later use of the files. Two treatments of one idea may form a clearer test than several unrelated offers. A hypothetical workshop could compare fault diagnosis with an explanation of what a repair includes. Name that difference before launch. Reserve capacity to act on early observations, but do not require creative replacement every few days without a reason. Production should respond to a question, a problem or a change in the offer.

Choose the contact route the company can support

The contact destination affects how much someone understands before leaving their details. A short platform form can make submission easier, but the business still needs to assess fit. A website can explain more and show evidence, while requiring a reliable mobile experience. A message starts a conversation that somebody must actually handle. None of these options is inherently best for every service.

Start with information needed for the next action. A local service may need the town and type of problem; a manufacturing enquiry may need scale and timing. Do not ask for data nobody will use. Explain what happens after submission and how the company will contact the person. Test the full route from ad to the place where enquiries are handled. Agree responsibility for unanswered requests, duplicates and work outside scope. Advertising cannot repair a process in which valid submissions remain unread. Include staff time in the operational plan, even when it does not appear on the agency invoice.

Design measurement together with the data flow

Advertising tools can send a platform information about website activity. Before enabling them, define the purpose of each event, the data involved, permissions and how users must be informed. A working technical integration does not settle whether a particular use of data is appropriate. Do not send free-text messages or sensitive details merely because an integration offers another field. The team should know where information goes and who can inspect the configuration.

Test one completed action, a failure and a retry. If several tools report the same conversion, check for duplicate counting. Differences between the advertising dashboard and internal records require investigation of definitions and attribution periods. Do not simply add sales reported by every platform: several systems may claim involvement in the same transaction. A business report should distinguish platform events, confirmed enquiries and confirmed sales. Record known measurement gaps rather than filling them with estimates presented as facts. This makes later comparisons more useful when the tracking setup changes.

Example: a higher form cost can hide a better enquiry cost

This is a hypothetical comparison, not a DigiDraft campaign result. Variant A spends PLN 1,200 and collects 40 forms, of which eight fit the offer. Variant B spends the same amount and collects 20 forms, with twelve relevant enquiries. Cost per form is PLN 30 and PLN 60 respectively. Media cost per relevant enquiry is PLN 150 for A and PLN 100 for B. Looking only at form cost would favour a different direction.

That calculation does not yet establish a winner. Consider the small sample, traffic allocation, time allowed for replies and eventual sales. Two ordinary ad sets can receive different traffic; running them at the same time does not create a controlled experiment. Work and production costs are also excluded here. Define a relevant enquiry before seeing results, so the criterion does not shift in favour of a preferred creative. Record contacts that cannot yet be assessed. Update the comparison as unanswered contacts are assessed and ongoing conversations lead to a decision. Keep those later outcomes separate from what you knew at the first review.

Choose a channel and provider around the decision

Meta may be worth testing when the offer can be demonstrated, a new approach needs explaining or you want to reach people before they actively search for a supplier. Google Search responds to queries in a search engine. These are different contexts, not a permanent ranking of cheap and expensive channels. The decision depends on the offer, available material, purchase process and measurement. Do not activate a second channel merely because a larger package includes it.

Before commissioning work, ask for separate media and service costs, account access, creative approval and a method of assessing enquiries. Be cautious about a guaranteed CPL without a lead definition, missing activity history and reports focused only on likes when the goal is sales. For a conversation with DigiDraft, prepare the offer, existing materials, area served and the person responsible for responses. We can then define what decision the test should support and which parts of the journey need preparation before spending starts.

Questions and answers

What does managing Facebook and Instagram ads cost?

The DigiDraft price list checked on 8 October 2026 lists setup at PLN 1,500 net and management at PLN 1,500 net per month. The budget paid to Meta is separate. Before launch, establish which creative, variations and measurement work the order includes.

How should I set the budget for a first Meta Ads test?

Start with the question the test should answer and the maximum amount you can allocate to it. Include media, creative and management, and write down the evaluation criteria. Splitting a small budget across too many ideas can make conclusions harder to draw.

Why does a cheaper form submission not always mean a better ad?

The total can include people who do not fit the offer or cannot be reached. Compare the cost of enquiries that meet criteria agreed in advance. Check whether the issue comes from the ad, the form questions or the follow-up process.
