The task

A CV is a working document. It introduces a person, organises a professional profile and needs readability within an individual visual treatment.

Project decisions

A portrait as a signature

The illustrated likeness on a yellow circle identifies the author. A dark panel separates personal details from the profile text.

Two speeds of reading

The name and headings make the structure easy to scan. Longer text on a light background has a quieter rhythm than the portrait area.

What we made

An original document shown in the portfolio. This is personal work, not an external client commission or evidence of employment outcomes.

Patryk’s work, historically presented as Malinowski Designs.

Questions and answers

Was the web developer CV a client commission?

It is Patryk’s personal work, previously presented as Malinowski Designs. The case study shows the document design and how it presents a professional profile. It does not document the outcome of a job application.

How is information divided in the CV design?

A dark panel separates the portrait and personal details, while the light area holds the profile description. The name and headings reveal the structure before the reader moves into longer text.

What role does the illustrated portrait play in the CV?

The portrait on a yellow circle identifies the author and gives the document a personal element. A separate text area leaves room for professional information, so the illustration does not replace the CV’s content.
